Sometimes clever and simple designs have the side effect that they aren't obvious to new users. ;-). The SkyTools Scheduler has many different modes of operation, which determine what options there are, and more importantly, what output it generates. There isn't any switch to toggle these modes on the Scheduler. Instead, it looks at the properties of the selected imaging system to determine what mode to use. In particular, it looks at the Control System.

To answer your question, if you want to create a schedule that you can print to use to set up your AIR software, open your Imaging System, click on Control System, and select "Hand Controller / Manual Control." With that selected the Scheduler will generate a list that you can print out. It may be time to revisit the label for that selection. Maybe I can make it more clear. "Hand Controller" and "Manual" intuitively really describe what you wan to do.

Smile thank you for the timely response.

I will follow your instructions ...... I used the software recommendations on M16 last night and look forward to doing a deep dive into all the wonderful "bells & whistles" it offers.
I hand wrote the work flow with pen & paper and even jotted down some of the details on my hand ( palm pilot ) so I could look at my cheat notes while setting up the ASI Air in the backyard.

Incredible work and effort you have put into the software......

Making it more clear for a "rookie" seventy one year old Astrophotographer is always helpful  Cool

thank you again
